Meet the Owner
Chris Steenbuck
Chris is the very definition of a “Jack of all trades.” With over 15 years of construction experience, there’s not much he hasn’t done! He got his start in the fireplace repair and installation business, where he discovered how rewarding it can be to help clients solve their home repair challenges. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to great service and customer satisfaction.
After a few years in fireplace repair, Chris made the move into landscaping and masonry. Over the next decade, he worked his way up to project manager, becoming the go-to guy for clients and coworkers whenever a tricky problem came up. He loved finding creative solutions and keeping projects running smoothly.
Eventually, Chris decided to take everything he’d learned and build something of his own. He founded Reliable Builders in Carmel, California, where he provided both handyman and construction services to the community. Building and fixing things has always been his passion — he loves “putting the puzzle pieces together” to make things work just right.
Now, Chris and his family have brought Reliable Builders to Salem, Oregon, ready to help their new community with the same care and craftsmanship. When he’s not working, you’ll find him outdoors with his wife, Emily, and their two sons, enjoying everything Oregon has to offer.
